Tamale has been performing comedy since she helped to start The Charles Darwin Experience improv troupe at the University of Arizona in 1997.

Since then, she has attended countless classes, workshops, and intensives at numerous theaters including the Second City Conservatory Program , iO Chicago, and Annoyance Theater.  She has also been featured in festivals around the world, including the Dublin Lesbian Arts Festival, to perform her original work.

Curve Magazine voted her seventh funniest lesbian in America, and she has been trained in long, short, and experimental forms of improv, in addition to sketch, and stand up.

At the end of grad school, she produced a short series called Tamale Presents: LOL that featured both local and national talent including Julie Goldman, Vicky Shaw, Beth Stelling, Cameron Esposito, and many others.

Currently, she produces Tamale Presents: Brass Chuckles Comedy and travels far and wide bringing the funny to the people.  Catch a show to see what all the fuss is about!
